Dan Wolman also made Baby Love and Nana for Cannon. Here, the Israeli filmmaker is in Sweden, making a movie about a young girl named Inga who leaves her small town for the big lights and big city of Stockholm. There, she's shocked to find her sister Greta (Monica Ekman) is living in sin with her boyfriend Casten (Krister Ekman, Monica's real-life husband). Before you can say Swedish adult film imported by Cannon, Casten is making love to both sisters, putting a wedge between them. Then, Inga leaves for home. This movie has just as much sex as travelogue footage, padding it - barely - to eighty minutes. Yet it has one thing that makes it worth watching. Inga is played by Thriller star Christina Lindberg. Yes, the one-eyed demoness of revenge. I'd like to not have this article descend into me being a Tex Avery wolf over Lindberg, but that's incredibly difficult. If you ever wondered, was the world created by an accidental combination of chemicals and the Big Bang or was there a Divine Designer behind it all, I point you to Christina Lindberg and ask you to make up your own mind.

Unfortunately I wasted my time downloading (by Iranian Internet with 60 KB/s of speed and using VPN) and watching this film (?). First of all, the plot is very awkward and simple. Sex scenes are artificial and boring and long. You cannot replace story with scenes of a girl undressing or taking a bath. Also, the ending is pointless. I discovered something ridiculous: Every time a man wants to rape the girl, she resists at first, but suddenly she submits herself! This is not "credible" or "logical", which is the main condition of a standard scene in professional cinema. Only if you are a voyeur, I would recommend it to you.

'Maid in Sweden' is a soft *. starring Christina Lindberg. For those old enough to remember, it evokes nice memories about the love & sex morals of the early seventies. Although 'Maid in Sweden' offers us a coherent story, one cannot overlook its downright lousy acting - in particular that of Lindberg herself. Its shooting could also have been done better, even by the standards of 1971. My DVD also offers a recent 10 minutes-interview with 57-year old Christina Lindberg. Although she answers her questions politely enough, one feels that Lindberg has left the * shooting in her young life behind her a long ago ago already.

A bunch of jerks and A-holes!! Inga put on a good show of being innocent but is very immoral. Greta was the only likeable character. I know this isn't meant to be a serious movie but the messages it sends are awful. Rape a girl long enough and good enough and she will begin to like it and fall in love with you! I don't know which character was worse, Inga or her sisters boyfriend. Both are scum. I liked the interview at the end, Christine Lindberg was still an attractive older lady though I would never guess she was the same person.

Rape and more rape, while capitalizing on the over-developed (and heavy-cellulite) body of the leading lady. If you want to watch a post-60's genre flick of Swedish culture in the early 70's this movie is probably a fair example. But most likely it's the near X-rated skin and sex that will draw most curious viewers. As far as seeing * females and some sex action, it's disgusting that much of it results from rape, and the plot has almost no sensitivity to the character's feelings or trauma. As far as the acting, the plot is very thin and the actors as well. There is little depth or purpose for this movie aside from being a vehicle for nudity and sex. If you enjoyed movies such as Candy (Ewa Aulin) and enjoy seeing a character repeatedly sexually abused, then you will probably enjoy this movie, unfortunately. This movie is basically sexploitation.

After being curious about this movie for several years (due to the trailer being uploaded on YouTube), I finally got to see this Swedish soft-* film on Netflix. It concerns Inga (Kristina Lindberg)-a young, naive woman-visiting her adult sister's apartment one week. This sister lives with her boyfriend and they like to fool around a lot. Also, Inga has some sex fantasies when first spending the night due to her overhearing them since her time with her boyfriend back home is sooo boring. So when this sister's boyfriend mentions his friend, Bjorn, Inga's intrigued...All right, I'll just say while I like the early '70s music and the ways they had Ms. Lindberg constantly disrobe, the rapes that happened to her-despite her seeming to enjoy them-were a bit disturbing especially when the second was with her sister's boyfriend. And the dialogue and performances are just for the birds. But if your curious about this sort of thing, Maid in Sweden is at least worth a look.
