Detective Conan: Full Score of Fear

Eat it, Timothée Chalamet! This movie is definitely a love letter to opera. The performance and singing scenes are not cut off; sometimes it feels like watching an actual performance, but in anime form. Someone with perfect pitch would probably enjoy this film as it is quite detailed. As a Conan movie, it's a slow burn, and throughout the film, sounds serve as clues and tools to catch the culprit. I also like those post-credit scenes. In "Phantom of Baker Street," Conan sucks at video games, so he was playing late at night to practice. Here, he's trying to identify his weird habit while playing the violin. I read on Reddit that it's because he does glissando, where you "slide" from one musical note to another. Conan has perfect pitch, but has poor pitch singing. His ear bones are not functioning properly, so he can't identify notes coming from himself well.
