Sat through 5 hours of pain and hard work, but it was worth it. I enjoyed this. The tattoo I got is a turtle shell rattle, used for singing at longhouses as part of my Native American culture. The only way to possess one is to hunt snapping turtles. The shell of the rattle is literally the shell of a snapping turtle and the handle is the stretched out remains of its head and neck. Beads/pits are later put in for the rattle to have its sound. This may sound cruel to all who are ignorant of my culture, so I don't want any disrespectful/racist/joke comments regarding my culture or the tattoo because I don't tolerate ignorance and disrespect. Why else would my motto be #ThinkOptimistically?
