Amber is once again the welcoming committee as newcomer Gina makes her debut, and after a quick tutorial on how to a No Ref Match works as far as counting pinfalls goes, it’s on. Amber is aggressive early, forcing Gina to come up with counters but aside from a test of strength that has Miss Nova bridging no advantage comes of the early going. Amber keeps probing, looking for a chink in the rookie’s armor, and making progress with a seated armbreaker and crossface. A Headscissor counter with a claw swings the momentum and Gina’s character starts to show thru as she figures out what she can do without a Ref. Things start going downhill for Amber as she’s choked and takes a big Bodyslam. Gina thinks she has Amber right where she wants her but sometimes that’s exactly where a veteran wants the rookie to be.
