In this lesson, we will go on an imaginary journey, using all the different types of movement we have learnt so far, changing direction, speed and levels.
In this lesson, we will dance three parts of the story, Jack and the Beanstalk. We will use our imaginations to act out these parts through movement, using pathways, changing directions, changing speeds and carrying different objects.
In this lesson, we will explore straight and curved pathways, and coordinate different body parts.
In this lesson, we will continue to develop our understanding of how balances and travelling actions can be linked together to create a basic sequence. We will think about what impact exercise has on our body's responses.
In this lesson, we will develop our gymnastics vocabulary by learning some intermediate balances and think about how using body tension and control can make our balances look effective. We will understand what impact regular gymnastics can have on our body.
In this lesson, we will learn the different types of rolling movements that can be performed safely in our home environment. We will learn how to link these movements with the basic balances. We will also think about how exercise makes us feel.
In this lesson, we will learn how to link the basic balances with travelling movements. We will also learn how to perform a safe warm-up and cool-down.
In this lesson, we will learn the basic balances and explore the different ways we can show these. We will think about how we can exercise safely in our home environment.
