This series should come with a warning label like an additive pain killer:very bad for you and highly addictive.The story of our heroine (secretly in love with herself, her secret boyfriend, and the prince, secretly) manipulating her way around more powerful, popular or pretty candidates to be chosen the One.Divided into a trilogy.Narrator’s sappy, whispery delivery will trigger involuntary eye rolls and gag reflex.Lily’s “poison for young brains” review is on point;misogynistic, narcissistic, cliched, and awkward. I listened to the whole series.More than once.It helps me fall asleep.
