With WWF Raw airing on the USA Network and WCW Nitro airing live on TNT every Monday night, fans would choose which show to watch. This resulted in a TV ratings battle between the two companies. This time period in pro wrestling saw record viewers tuning in every week to see the likes of Stone Cold Steve Austin, the nWo, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Goldberg and Sting. It's the night after WCW Road Wild 1997 and Lex Luger has a few things to say about his crushing defeat at the pay per view. The Steiners show they aren't done yet with Scott Hall and Kevin Nash, and Curt Hennig gets a main event match against Randy Savage on this episode of Nitro. The main event for Clash of the Champions 35 is also confirmed this week. On WWF Raw, Shawn Michaels has an insurance policy for his match against Mankind. HBK says the WWF are out to get him, so he's brought in someone to look out for his best interests. Bret Hart continues his feud with Del Wilkes, Dude Love gives an update on Steve Austin, and The Nation of Domination get a new member at the conclusion of a Faarooq vs Chainz match. 00:00 - Intro 01:27 - The Outsiders vs Starr & Moore 03:23 - Shawn Michaels talks about his insurance policy 05:01 - Wrath vs Meng / Hawk vs Henry Godwinn 08:20 - Putski vs Williams / Jericho vs Guerrero 12:16 - Pillman vs Funk / Malenko vs Jarrett 15:29 - Dude Love & Eric Bischoff Promos 18:25 - Owen & Bulldog Tag Team Match 20:21 - Steiners vs Horsemen / Luger Promo 23:21 - Bret Returns to Canada / Bagwell vs DDP 26:27 - Faarooq vs Chainz / Dragon vs Mortis 27:50 - Patriot Promo / JJ Dillon & Sting Promo 30:49 - Savage vs Hennig / HBK vs Mankind 35:40 - Final Scores / Credits #WWF #WCW #nWo
