We're coming to the end of the WWF Raw vs WCW Nitro Monday Night War but we've still got a few shows to look at before saying goodbye. Can WCW scrape a few consolation wins before we wrap up? Or, is WCW completely doomed already? WCW presents Mayhem 2000 later in the week and the PPV could look very different depending on the outcome of our Nitro main event. Lex Luger is getting a shot at Booker T's World Championship, and if Lex wins, the Luger vs Goldberg match at Mayhem will be made a title match. This means Goldberg *should* want Lex to pick up a win tongiht, and Billy Boy does show up during the match. On Raw is War Stone Cold Steve Austin turns back the clock when he faces Chris Benoit. Benoit says that Austin isn't a good wrestler, Chris doesn't rate Austin's in-ring work at all, so Stone Cold sets out to prove Benoit wrong by putting a focus on wrestling while his usual brawling style takes a back seat.
