Our first song Peele Amiras from our new album, Sabr is sure to get you hooked. It is an interpretation of Kabir’s message for our times. The lockdown was a reminder for everyone on this planet of treasuring life’s gifts- blue skies, lush forests and waterfalls- not taking any of it for granted. A message reinforced in Kabir’s company. We hope you take a moment to step back, enjoy nature’s bounty and the song, of course. ______________________________________________________________ Lyrics : Jhadi lagi ya jhadi lagi Pile amiras Dhara Gagan ma jhadi lagi Barse amiras dhara gagan ma jhadi lagi Boond ka pyasa ghada bhar paya sapne main wo swad na aya Kaho kise kaise samjhawe ek boond ki taran lagi Pyaas bina kya piwe re paani pyase ke liye hain ye pani Bin adhikar koi nahi jani amritars ki zadi lagi Boond amiras gurujiki Wani jeevan rasta hain ye wani Kabir sangat main ho humari daali prem ki hari lagi ______________________________________________________________ Translation: * Peele Amiras Dhara* Drink the nectar raining from heaven. Tell me how to explain this to anybody, all that one was waiting, was for a drop to descend. how can you drink water without being thirsty This water is only for the one who is thirsty Without being worthy you can never gain this knowledge Then the imortal nectar pours down By drinking this nectar you will achieve the state of immortality, you will not take rebirth You will not suffer from pain and death The body's vessle is being filled Gurus utterances are drops of nectar This water is the path way of life Let kabir's company be with us So that the branches of life are filled with green and lush. ______________________________________________________________ Composition: Neeraj Arya's Kabir Cafe Singers - Neeraj Arya, Shekhar Ravjiani Guitars and Bass - Poubuanpou Britto Khangchian Percussions - Vicky Bramhankar Drums - V
