Irfan Pathan smashed 54 runs in boundaries during his explosive 65-run innings, while MS Dhoni attacked with fearless strokeplay and Yuvraj Singh provided another crucial burst of runs. However, India lost momentum towards the end, surrendering their final six wickets for just 23 runs as Mohammad Asif kept taking wickets. Pakistan responded with an outstanding chase. Salman Butt scored a brilliant century, keeping the required run rate under control, before Shoaib Malik produced a sensational 90 off just 67 balls. After initially settling in, Malik exploded for 40 runs from his final 18 balls, putting Pakistan firmly in contention. The match became even more dramatic when Inzamam-ul-Haq was dismissed for obstructing the field after blocking Suresh Raina's throw while trying to return to his crease. Pakistan still had a chance, but with three wickets remaining and exactly a run-a-ball needed in the final three overs, fading light brought the umpires into the decision. Pakistan ultimately secured a seven-run victory in a remarkable high-scoring contest, with the Duckworth-Lewis method and deteriorating light playing a decisive role in the finish. This was a classic India-Pakistan battle packed with aggressive batting, tense moments, inspired fielding, and a finish that kept everyone guessing until the very end. 👍 Like the video, 💬 comment on whether India could have defended their total in better light, and subscribe to Cricket Max for more legendary India-Pakistan matches and classic cricket highlights! #IndiaVsPakistan #SachinTendulkar #ShoaibMalik #CricketMax #Highlights #INDvsPAK
