i-D Meets PinkPantheress, the "Boy's a Liar" singer making internet-breaking pop music that transcends its TikTok origins. Emulating the escape rooms she loves so much, we gave the i-D cover star a series of clues to unlock questions about emo fashion, a long-burning Subway addiction, her K-pop obsessions and bringing Skrillex to the Canterbury cricket ground she used to work at. @ponies721 then joins digital creator @aliyahsinterlude in an East London vintage shop to give her a makeover, dressing her up in signature Y2K PinkPantheress style: slouchy boots, Jean Paul-Gaultier and all. 00:00 - 00:20 - Intro 00:25 - 00:47 - Clue One 00:50 - 01:38 - Growing up in Bath 01:40 - 02:07 - First paid job and Skrillex 02:08 - 02:27 - Clue Two 02:28 - 02:56 - Earliest memory 02:57 - 03:08 - What would you be if you weren’t a musician 03:09 - 03:22 - Clue Three 03:23 - 03:39 - K-Pop star 03:40 - 03:48 - Favourite K-pop groups 03:49 - 03:52 - Clue Four 03:53 - 04:08 - Singing 04:09 - 04:52 - Working with Ice Spice 04:53 - 05:05 - Biggest challenges of making an album 05:06 - 05:25 - Meeting Aliyahs Interlude 05:26 - 06:31 - First Look 06:32 - 06:48 - First Date 06:49 - 07:09 - Second Look 07:10 - 07:21 - Third Look 07:22 - 07:52 - Puzzle box and escape rooms 07:52 - 08:18 - Horror films and Saw 08:19 - 08:33 - Opening the puzzle box 08:34 - 08:54 - Final Clue 08:55 - 09:20 - How would you want the world to remember you 09:20 - 09:38 - Credits ____ i-D celebrates fashion, culture, individuality and youth.
