Turn on some background music because this ones gonna be a long one... I've seen many people ask how to make dinosaurs, and how I do them in my specific style for ROBLOX entirely. Given I will soon be leaving the ROBLOX platform, I figured I would share my entire creative and thought process about the situation. Below are all the keybinds I use in the process: ------------------------------- R to Rotate G to Grab/Move S to Scale --After clicking R/G/S, you can then tap X/Y/Z to execute that action on a specific axis Numpad 1 for Front view Numpad 3 for Side view Numpad 7 for Top view --Hold shift and click these same ones to get the opposite side Shift + Click to select more than one entity C to Highlight. Hold shift to unhighlight, right-click to cancel A to Select All Ctrl + J to Join parts E to Extrude Faces --tap X/Y/Z to extrude on a specific axis F to fill faces after selecting the necessary vertices or edges A to Select All K for Knife tool Ctrl + B to Bevel Ctrl + L after clicking a face/vertex selects all the faces/vertexes its connected to P to Separate (and it shows the different separation methods) Alt + N to recalculate the topology Hold Shift + Click/drag in Sculpt mode to smooth -------------------------------------------------- Google Drive link to Eye mesh and Material Naming Script: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1VXbzpouUyHmjat6_cDuKeCc1oHsEz2mK?usp=sharing -------------------------------------------------- Video Chapters: 00:00 Intro and Reference Finding 5:24 Making the Head 38:26 The Jaw and Adding Color 46:51 The Teeth 55:37 The Inside of the Mouth 1:02:48 The Neck/Body/Tail 1:14:04 The Legs/Toes 1:33:10 The Arms/Fingers 1:47:51 Creating the Patterns 2:07:08 Segmenting the Model 2:16:46 Separating Patterns/Importing 2:22:07 Making it Pretty in Studio
