Santana comes out strong in this 1 Fall matchup against April, backing her into a corner with forearms, then delivering shoulderblocks against the turnbuckles. But April quickly turns the tide with a boot to the gut of a charging Santana. April manhandles Santana with face slams into the turnbuckles, hairpulls, and foot chokes. She traps Santana in a double Chickenwing on the mat for so long that it’s remarkable that Santana’s shoulders aren’t dislocated. April toys with a weary and beaten down Santana, and catches her in an over-the-knee Backbreaker submission. Santana manages to escape, but April continues to literally smack her around and choke her against the ropes. Does Santana have something up her sleeve that can save this match for her, or is it already all but in April’s pocket?
