Welcome back! Relive the story of Triple H with Ric Flair against Booker T with Goldust heading into WrestleMania 19. In the high-stakes world of wrestling, Booker T carved his path to glory by winning a 20-man battle royal, outlasting all competitors, and securing his spot as the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania. His triumph, however, sparked a fierce exchange with Triple H. On the March 3 episode of Raw, Triple H took center stage with a controversial promo, attempting to diminish Booker's achievements in WCW. With a touch of audacity, Triple H dismissed the legacy of the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, labeling it a "joke" once held by non-wrestlers like Vince Russo and actor David Arquette. The promo took a contentious turn as Triple H questioned Booker's potential in WWE, insinuating that, as a convicted criminal, Booker would never reach the pinnacle of the wrestling world. The controversy reached its peak when Triple H made remarks about Booker T's appearance, referring to his "nappy" hair and suggesting that Booker was merely there to entertain "people like" Triple H. This prompted an accusation of racial insensitivity, a charge Triple H vehemently denied during the WrestleMania 19 press conference. According to him, the promo focused solely on Booker's criminal past. Booker, fueled by a desire for retribution, staged a bold attack on Triple H in the most unexpected of places – the bathroom. This unexpected turn of events set the stage for a heated tag team match on the March 24 episode of Raw, where Booker and Goldust joined forces to defeat Triple H and Ric Flair, with Booker sealing the victory by pinning Triple H, leaving a resounding mark in their feud.
