Psychosynthesis

I'd be interested to know how much Italian psychiatrist, Roberto Assagioli, influenced the script?! The interplay between Imposter and who might be Authentic was the major tension in the piece. Great use of confinement in a limited space. Great theme of Man Vs Man, or Woman in this case.

A fantastic must watch psychological thriller which uses every tool in the box to draw you into this intensely emersive plot. Everything about this movie is tailored to putting you in the lead characters position from the aspect ratio used to the framing, sound production and lighting. A masterpiece that is sure to stand the test of time, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience!

Excellent cinematography and acting, beautiful music and a story line that will keep you on the edge of your seat. You are left wanting more at the end of this indie film.

This is a very fun and exciting movie! The storyline is great and keeps you wanting more. The best part of this movie is the cast. The actors all performed beyond expectations. I particularly liked the husband and watching his emotions as the story unfolded unbewilst to him.

This movie's format was not one I have seen before and took a little getting used to. But the story grabbed your attention and the intensity of the characters kept your attention. The premise is controversial and applicable. I enjoyed getting caught up in the story and trying to anticipate what would happen next. If you're looking for fast-moving action this is not the movie. But if you're looking for a movie that keeps you thinking well after "The End" this is an excellent pick!

With indie movies, the lack of a big budget is usually noticeable, and at times, can make it hard to watch. This is where Psychosynthesis shines. The micro budget feature written and directed by Noam Kroll and shot by Matteo Bertoli, is definitely a hidden gem. While it doesn't have fancy crane shots and such, the unique story and how it was told was really what made this movie special. If you're into vintage thrillers or you appreciate indie films, I highly recommend this movie!

Psychosynthesis definitely has vibes from Persona, Three Colors: Blue and even Mulholland Drive but it also felt unique. It was nice having heard Noam talk about this on his podcast and/or write about it in his newsletter and then see it come to full fruition. Indie cinema at its best! Beautiful cinematography and eerie sound design and music. And the lead was spot on. The pacing has a slow burn but each frame is oozing with intrigue and bewilderment. Highly recommend!

A very well-done film and super suspenseful ride. If you're into indie, art-house films then this is for you. If not, you will still enjoy this film. There's something for everyone. Definitely recommend.
