After the "mysterious" death of a colleague, the doldrums of office life at DanRick Designs are given a surprise resuscitation when Miles Fuller and Dylan Kirkpatrick discover they are the lead candidates for a promotion. The timing of the advancement opportunity couldn't be more ideal for the entry-level employees. The Tech Center where Miles' voluntarily teaches inner city teens is low on funds, and Dylan is desperate to purchase the home his deceased father built by hand, before his mother is manipulated by his weasel stepdad to put it on the market. The pay increase from the promotion could resolve their dilemmas, except only one of them can win the job. Peers and family deceive the young men into believing racial disparities always impact office politics, so assertive, yet questionable actions, may be necessary to level the playing field if they really want the job. Is ethical compromise justified for a moral cause? Miles and Dylan will journey down a rabbit hole that not only answers the question, but drops them in the middle of chaos and high jinks so wild, staying alive becomes more vital than the job! With a colorful cast (literally) of quirky characters, You're Hired, explores both internal and external perceptions and struggles of race and identity. This social satire avoids political correctness, opting to poke fun at the ignorance and insecurities that create unnecessary division. Sometimes laughing at stereotypes is simply wiser than allowing them validity, especially in today's America.

You're Hired(2021), directed by Daniel De Sangre, and Ricky Teams, is an amazing modern-day comedy. The whole genre revolves around modern-day comedy, which is different from the casual old-school one. The storyline is interesting, as well as, it presents a box full of thriller, drama, and laughter, all in one movie. The movie has soundtracks that will lighten up your mood. In another way, it made kept me hooked to the movie; till the end. The storyline is impressive as, I have mentioned earlier, the modern-day comedy gives you a break from the old-school, ordinary one. The themes that are being included, by the makers of this film are very interesting. Such as bromance, envy, competition, dark comedy, etc. These themes make this movie worth watching. The movie begins with the mysterious death of an employee at DanRick Designs, and after his death, there starts a competition among two employees, both belonging to different skin colors, cultures. One is black, and the other being white. It is the most interesting part, around which the whole movie revolves. Both Miles and Dylan need this job; to prove their worth to their family members, and due to this fact, there starts a sense of competition, but in a funny way. The characters of the movie are interesting as well, such as, Lainee played by Jaida Grace; she is a small girl who acts as a manager, personal assistant to the boss-lady in the office. This duo was quite funny to watch. There are a lot of other interesting characters, such as; Mandy, her character was polite at the start, but after some, it revealed the dark truth about her personality. You will find out the dark truth only after watching the film. The filmmakers, through their comedy, had also tried to highlights the social issues. Such as; racial discrimination that exists in our society; they also showed the positive aspect, in a way, that how this discrimination could be toned down; if we think that every life matter, not just black or white, but every life. There also happens a very cute bromance; that exists between Miles and Dylan. This bromance is so funny to watch. It will make you laugh out loud. It is also interesting to watch that how these rivals finally come to the same side. Hence, the overall movie is a treat to the eyes. It helps to brighten up your mood, due to the fun part. Also, the story makes you stick to the movie till the end. So without further ado, I recommend you add it to your Watchlist. Happy Watching!
