Episode 331: WWE Royal Rumble 2005 WWE had their own West Coast Rumble on the Road To Wrestlemania 21 with Royal Rumble 2005. 5 matches in total; including 2 championships being defended, a Casket Match, a Grudge Match, & the 30 Man Royal Rumble Match. The 2 belts being defended; a Triple Threat for John Bradshaw Layfield's WWE Championship against Big Show & Kurt Angle as well as Triple H's World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Orton in what was the end of Orton's Main Event babyface run. The Casket Match culminating the Undertaker/Heidenreich feud; though it nearly lead to a Heidenreich & Snitsky/Brothers Of Destruction tag match at Wrestlemania. A Grudge Match between Edge & Shawn Michaels. And one of the better Royal Rumble Matches in history; ending on the biggest botch in Royal Rumble Match history(and what was suppose to be the original ending).
