On Tuesday Prince Ali, who is the president of the Jordan FA, accused FIFA of “blackmailing” Jordan over prize money owed to them in exchange for support for Infantino staying on as FIFA president. Prince Ali wrote on X that his FA would not back Infantino after alleging FIFA sought to secure his support by promising it would help with the recovery of money he said was owed to the JFA.
