White Chamber

I love when you stumble across a movie, and having no expectations - it floors you to the point that you geel the need to add an alternative argument to the "top reviews" Yes, it has flaws. Yes, it has holes in the script. But if you can push past those dectractions, this is quite a compelling movie. The script is tight, if somewhat convenient - slash contrieved. However the acting is top notch, and the underlying commentary on "the state Earth 2019" - while exaggerated - is relevant. I cannot help but recommend this movie of you have grave misgivings about the future direction of mankind.

Okay, I am not going to write much of this review. THIS WAS THE ONE OF THE WORST FILMS OF MY LIFE!! But some parts were good in the film but no spoilers.

After a slow start, the pace just didn't pick up. I pushed through another 30 minutes just in case it was building to something decent. It didn't. Poor story, poor acting and topped off by the cheapest set I've ever seen in a film. Safe to say this film was shot on a low budget.Very low. On a positive note, it could have been better as theatre production. Condensed, with better talent, the story and approach has potential. Though as a film, just don't waste your time on this one.

It's worth to watch it for the ending. Great, great ending. Movie speak about humanity, choices we make, our inner demons, cruelty and brutality everyone of us posses inside of us. It talk about war, sacrifices, moral dilemmas... But that ending... Love it, like it.

Q. And what do you get ? A. White Chamber. It's as if the numbskulls of the entire production team of Big Brother had been given the remit of making a 'futuristic thriller', and so being devoid of any genuine imagination of their own, hastily cobbled together this completely derivative and unengaging low-budget dross, dressed up as a savvy dystopian drama. Take the advice of every real reviewer here, and watch something else instead...anything else !

The plot was ok, the execution was deplorable. Started out backtracking 5 days, pop ups, for day 1 and 2, maybe 3, then 4 and 5 got nothing. If you're going to be regimented, at least stick with it ffs. Ruth was against this project the entire time, wtf was she even doing there in the first place? I was waiting at the end for it be revealed that she was Zakarians daughter or relative in some way, or just an undercover agent, but nope, just someone stupid. People saying it was like CUBE, are crazy, those movies were worth watching, this one isn't.
