This is my countdown of the 5 best Super-Bantamweights in Boxing history. Morales is placed above Barrera due to being undefeated in the division and holding a win over Barrera. Zaragoza only just missed out because of his losses to Paul Banke, Tracy Harris Patterson and Erik Morales - Very good fighter but I felt the 5 on this list surpassed him. 1. Wilfredo Gómez - Is a Puerto Rican former professional boxer and three-time world champion. He is frequently mentioned among the best Puerto Rican boxers of all time by sports journalists and analysts, along with Félix Trinidad, Miguel Cotto, Wilfred Benítez, Héctor Camacho, Edwin Rosario, and Carlos Ortíz. His seventeen consecutive knockouts in championship defenses is a record for all boxing divisions. 2. Érik Morales - Is a Mexican former professional boxer. He is the first Mexican-born boxer in history to win world titles in four different weight classes, having held the WBC and WBO super bantamweight, WBC featherweight (twice), WBC and IBF super featherweight, and WBC light welterweight titles. 3. Marco Antonio Barrera - Is a Mexican former professional boxer. He has held multiple world titles in three weight classes, including the WBO super bantamweight title twice, the lineal and Ring magazine featherweight titles, as well as the WBC and IBF super featherweight titles. Barrera is ranked #43 on ESPN's list of "50 All-Time Greatest Boxers". 4. Wilfredo Vázquez - Is a retired Puerto Rican professional boxer. He is a former world champion at three different weights; bantamweight, super-bantamweight, and featherweight. 5. Vuyani Bungu - Is a former professional boxer. Known as "Carousel Kid" or "The Beast", Bungu was a force in the super bantamweight division throughout the 1990s.
