The Working Girls
Writer-director Stephanie Rothman seems to have invented an alternate universe where gangsters and strip club owners have a heart of gold and millionaires ride in limos just to see attractive girls for platonic friendship--without any sexual instincts whatsoever. Authorities who discipline and punish, except in once scene, are always absent. It left me laughing.. unfortunately I continued during the tense conflicts toward the end. Elvira plays a * and her stage fright advice must've been borrowed from a public speaking coach. Honey, the runaway who begs everyone for handouts and favors, seems not to have any goals or ambitions in life at all.
Supposedly the only appealing thing in this movie is that Cassandra Peterson (Elvira) gets naked for the first and only time in her career. So they released this film on video calling it 'Elvira Naked'.Unfortunately, she is only in this movie for one scene and the naked appearance does not last long. Not to mention that she does not look as sexy as she does on her show and in the movies. The rest of this movie isn't even worth a shot on Mystery Science Theater 3000. And the other actors in this film should get jobs that fits their skills and intelligence.
