In this episode I speak with one of the most OG people in our sport, Scott Nelson from Onthemat.com OTM Fight Shops, Lucky Gi and now Chipsa Hospital Scotty is a black belt under Nino Schembri and trained back in the day with the original Ralph Gracie Jiu Jitsu team that featured guys like BJ Penn, Dave Camarillo, Kurt Osiander and more. Scotty was the co founder of Onthemat.com the original BJJ and Jiu Jitsu media source for interviews and matches. Onthemat produced such classic hits as American Penetration, Dengue Fever and of course 101 Submissions. Scotty also was one of the first ever fight shop owners and started a chain of businesses called OTM Fight Shops where he sold some of the best products in BJJ, Jiu Jitsu, MMA, boxing, Muay Thai & more. Scotty was also the founder of the Lucky Gi which was the first ever exclusive and stylish Jiu jitsu uniform in the jiu jitsu industry. Currently Scotty has founded various hospitals in Mexico called Chipsa, where they help people with alternative treatments for various illnesses.
