The first thing I noticed about this project is for a low to no budget indie, the production value is pretty good. However, the editing is a bit experimental that doesn't quite pay off though. The concept isn't anything new and the story quickly outstays its welcome after the first 20 minutes. The movie as a whole isn't too long, but it feels like a film with too much unnecessary dialogue that doesn't help the storytelling. Specifically way too many forced F-bombs and profanity for my taste. I like the acting earlier in the film, but it spirals downward from there, likely due to the script. The characters are all clearly adults, but they act like teenagers in high school. The genre is more of a romance drama than a thriller, with excessive kissing and romantic flirting more frequent than a mystery or thriller would typically have. I think I would have enjoyed the film more as a 20-30 minute short since a lot of the dialogue just kinda dragged down the pacing and took me out of connecting important plot points.
