The Lion King 3: Hakuna Matata
Although most Disney sequels are bad, this one actually isn't. It is funny and I like how it breaks the 4th wall. I think the idea for the film was slightly creative. 9/10.
Never thought that it would actually be better than the second movie (because this is how it always goes). The jokes, the cutscreens and the music were all good. Great movie and a good recap to the first one (maybe that's why it won't be bad, cause it's basically the same story as the first)
It wasn't as good as I expected. Still I like it better than Lion King 2, partially because of the refreshing way to tell the stories. I didn't expect plot out of this, but still I thought it would be more hilarious. Some of the scenes weren't as funny as they were meant to be. Things I like the most out of the movie are clever ways to show the involvement of Timon and Pumba in the story even before they met Simba without interfering with the old plot. It well explains the first one, as I was wondering why Timon and Pumba just appeared in the middle-of-nowhere. However, the parts about Timon and Pumba aren't balanced. It's mostly about Timon, and then their journey together. I'd like more details about Pumba's stories. Worth watching if you're a fan of Lion King (like me). Otherwise you may be disappointed a little, depends on how much you love Disney.
A much needed breath of fresh air after crying your eyes out watching The Lion King. The change in perspective provides a new way to appreciate the classic original.
The Lion King 1 1/2 is a very cute story to go along with The Lion King. It basically follows the original story of The Lion King but with a couple of twists. In the movie,e vents are explained by a different characters point of view. This story is still an original plot. As far as sequels go, Disney isn't all that great at making worthwhile ones. This one, being the third part to The Lion King (Simba's Pride is the second.) actually has an original idea to it while still involving the fun of the first. Timon and Pumbaa travel along looking for the ideal place to live. After searching far and wide, they find the place of "Hakuna Matata". They then meet a small lion named Simba, and go through many things that parents today go through. I think this is a very good movie, and I'm happy to add it to my collection.
I loved this movie.....oh it was so cute ( from a 15 yr point of view ) I grew up with the lion king, i was just entering school when it came to VHS. Spoilers...... My fave scene is when Simba & Timon are haveing the snail-slerping contest with the Good...the Bad & the Ugly song playing, too cute!
I loved it when I watched it first and I'm glad my daughter also loved it. She was laughing the whole time. I don't know any movie funnier than this!
