The Day After Quarantine

The film takes place in Atlanta when governor Kemp ended the quarantine in the middle of the pandemic. The landlord wants all of his overdue rent from Pancho (Puncho Villashio ) who lives with Myron (Myron Jewell). Myron wants to have sex with everyone except his girlfriend (Kevonti Hobbs). They run an "almost waterless" car wash. There is a lot of characters and stereotyped humor that a white film maker would not dare to do since the early seventies. The black cop was always beating up on people while the white cop was attempting to rein him in. There is a pastor more interested in money and women than preaching. And there is a guy named "Snow" working at the car wash. In Atlanta, Curtis Snow is a well known dealer who has appeared as himself dealing in a number of films. Having him work at a car wash is funny. I felt the film missed the potential. Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity.
