After deciding which brand he wanted to work on (Raw), Scott was immediately put in a main event feud with World Heavyweight Champion Triple H. Big Poppa Pump was elevated right to the top after becoming an official member of the Raw roster, but his matches with Triple H left a lot of people wondering why Steiner got pushed so quickly. Triple H vs Scott Steiner took place at Royal Rumble 2003 and No Way Out 2003 and both matches failed to excite fans. The Royal Rumble match inparticular wasn't well received, and the build-up to the match also left fans scratching their heads as Steiner and HHH took part in bodybuilding contests, arm wrestling competitions and push up competitions.
