Teenage Badass

No, I'm not saying it compares in greatnesss or humor to those two films. This is a no budget indie film without names. But it has the same type of story and humor. IOW rock music and late teens. The one bad review has it so wrong. There's not a single inside joke. Takes place in Phoenix, but it could be any big US city that's not NY or LA. It's not Spinal Tap as in as funny as ST was. But it is a nice little film that's kind of funny sometimes.

Here's a really fun movie with a good storyline that we all enjoyed watching tonight. Multiple age groups and we all had laughs. It's lighthearted wholesome and easy to watch. There aren't many movies that I can honestly say that we all enjoyed watching and hanging out together without someone just sitting though it just to be polite. I actually liked it enough to look up the cast and crew and some interesting factoids about the production as well as leaving my review here which I've never done before, which says a lot actually. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

If you take yourself way too seriously and forgot what it was like to be young, you probably won't like this. This is an underdog story of sorts with mostly likable characters and a nice mix of comedy and drama. I was very entertained, although the Stylo character was pretty unlikable.

This is a weird little movie. Not exactly a comedy. It is lighthearted and upbeat though. Just be aware - there are no 'classic' jokes/gags. No lols and definitely no rofl moments. It's watchable. It's forgettable. But I'm giving it 6/10 for efforts, decent camerawork, good music, okay acting. PS. What's with the name? Little weird and unrelated, no?

I love Teenage Badass! me and my secret male lover was laughing non-stop! This movie has a surprisingly great plot for a comedy. The jokes were so funny. its the funniest movie you will ever see in september 2020 ! 10/10

Super entertaining... Jimmy Eat World sucks but this story just reminds me of those insane 2000's movies like spun... just more fun... totally worth the watch.

If you feel down and want some positive spirits and energy , then teenage badass will bring you there if you love music driven movies, then this is a buulseye for you. if you like movies with a script and plot written in the palm of your hand, then this 2digt-4digit flick will taste exquisitely well for you... its a film about a drummer boy hunting for a band to play with, and when he get the chance to hop on its like entering a roller coaster hi on weed killers and gubbelbum, and they all blew the wistle in the bongpipe.the funfactor and the everlasting positiveness, along with a decent kind of acting from a cast , that i at least didnt expect much from make this movie worthwhile watching. and if your keen on music on heavy gear and sharp snarling drumrytrhms then your so sold. you will love the music made for and handed out to you are just amazing, and the retroversions done of hits from the previous century get its own life by this movie.excellente... just to correct myself, it isnt a blockbuster, its too dumb for that, and its not the intention by its makers to be a blockbuster movie at all, i think this just was a fun thing to do, and when you give'n you take your rich anyway. its fun, naive and cool stuff and a big recommend from the grumpy old man

Absolutely mind-numbingly boring to anyone that is not a 40-50 year old white guy who had a college band in the Phoenix music scene. It's filled with in-jokes that nobody gets unless they're a 40-50 year old white guy who had a college band in the Phoenix music scene. Couple that with baby boomer style "Marriage is a shackle and wives are horrible!" humor, and you get a film that downright tires anyone under the age of 35. I wouldn't even consider watching if you're a woman. Every single female character revolves around the men. They're completely devoid of character, 2D creatures meant to fill space and give plot points for the leading boys of the film. It's hard to enjoy the film unless you are a very very specific demographic who will understand their bizarrely obscure jokes and references. I get the feeling the film was made less for any type of audience and more for the guys making it to live out some fantasy of how they wish their college band had went. It's not the world's most terrible film if you're the exact target audience, but if you're not you're better off just watching Scott Pilgrim again.
