Taxi

Wow...a movie about an inept cop that has little plot and story development, low performances and some skimpy dressed models. This is a dismal failure on the comedy aspect. There was no funny and no surprise. The entire story was so stupid and flawed that to sit and sit through it without trying to kill yourself is more thought provoking. There is actually 20 seconds of surprise in this movie, and it happens when the models almost get caught with their car - but that's it...20 seconds later, you feel very cheated again. This movie fails. Having not seen the French version, I can't compare it to anything - except what should be something to be able to entertain in itself - and it doesn't do that.

Taxi stars Jimmy Fallon and Queen Latifah who are both equally hilarious, they are perfect for the roles that they play. Taxi is a great film because it has great comedy, great acting and a wonderful story line that comes together flawlessly. The movie is a wonderful one and everyone from ages 10 to 100 can enjoy it. I makes everyone laugh. It has something for everyone! I love this movie because it made me laugh so much I have seen it at least six times and I could watch it over and over again. It can make me laugh when I am not in a good mood and I recommended it to my parents and they loved it as well! RENT IT YOU WILL LOVE IT AND THEN YOU WILL BUY IT! ITS AWESOME!!!

Jimmy Fallon is a cop who cannot drive a car, yet he is in pursuit of bank robbers and finds Queen Latifah, who just happens to be a professional speed racer...And so, the two chase after the hot super-models/thief's. Jimmy Fallon is not the least bit funny, he does the same type of comedy that we have seen in a hundred other comedy cop films...While Latifah is annoying as the gutsy car driver...The script is badly written and the acting is even bad, the only plus aspect of this is Giselle Bundchen, it's her first film, and she looks great, thats what really kept me watching and me, giving this a two...But like Fallon, she is a weak actor with no redeeming qualities. One to avoid.

What can I say...This movie was by far the worst two hours I have ever spent on a movie in my life (Besides the two hours I spent on Soul Plane). I don't think I remember laughing at any of the lame ass jokes of this lame excuse for a movie. Why Queen Latifah agreed to work on this garbage is beyond me. Jimmy Fallon..i'm not surprised because after Chris Rock there hasn't been anything decent coming out of SNL. A sorry excuse for a story is also present in this mess...Beautiful statuesque model-looking females working for some loser ass bank robber..WTF???..I have to admit for a minute there in the end the action got a little decent, but that was like the best thing out of the whooole movie! I would rate this movie down there with Soul Plane as the worst movies of 2004 or perhaps history! Stay away from this one, please!
