Taxi
Even though some of the stunts are very little realistic, it doesn't take away the real good driving and action of this movie. It is just like it's predecessor taken up a notch. A nice detail is that the French/German battle is toned down compared to the first movie.
'Taxi 2' (or 'Taxi Taxi) is the logic consequence of the first part. Same actors, same crew, same sense of humour. Luc Besson's idea must have been: Take the best of the first part and add some more action to it. Of course the car racing scenes are far away from being realistic (reminds me sometimes of the good old 'Knight Rider' with his partner David Hasselhof), but nevertheless they're very well done. But the movie isn't just about car chasing and crashing in the streets of Marseille and Paris. The heart of this movie is its great humour due to the excellent dialogues. But you have to watch it in french (if you understand french), because the translation of it can never come close to what it means in its original language. 'Taxi 2' is a very good sequel, but I can't say if its better than the first one. One thing is sure: it's a very funny movie, trust me. Hopefully there's going to be a third one...
If ones loves driving a Peugeot and French films, especially comedies, than this is the film one should see. The chases, the fighting scenes, the gadgets of the special car and the anti hero doing the work for the police makes one smile and laugh.
Jean-Louis Schlesser driving the 306 kit car and being overtaked by a taxi !!!!
This is the second movie thats about Samy, a crazy driver that lives in France. This movie is funnier then Taxi 1. But Taxi 1 is classic. So if you want a nice movie-day, Taxi 2 is the movie you should choose, but see Taxi 1 first so you know the whole story.
