Steuben County

I'll be honest, I gave this a watch just because I wanted to see how bad this is. Well... it's pretty much unwatchable. The camera angles are horrible and constantly too close to the subjects. The acting is horrific and the attempt to portray a depressed young man is poorly done, mainly do the lack of acting skills. This would get an 'F' even as a student project due to bad technical execution such as filming directly into the sun, constant camera movement and ridiculous script. To make things worse the audio mixing on this one is horrific so you can't hear what people are saying (they are not saying much, btw) and the background music is distracting rather than helping the scene. The audio mixing is so bad, it makes Vanquish (worst movie of 2021) looks like a masterpiece in comparison. Overall this creation is probably not worth the space it takes on IMDB servers. You literally might enjoy watching paint dry better. Only good thing here that there are no friends & family reviews. They were likely too ashamed to associate their user with this creation. Exact score: 2 / 100.

The only interest I have in this film is seeing where I grew up on film. It's pretty boring though like the other reviewer said. I always thought the Steuben County lake area would provide great locations and backdrops but unfortunately this film is not a great representation of what a good film could be in the Angola, Indiana lake area. Maybe one day I will come back and make my own film there!! Hopefully a better one- The plot and general storyline isn't interesting and not sure how this film got sold on Amazon Video but it gives me hope. If they would have had a decent script and been able to tell an interesting story it could have worked but this one is a snoozefest only interesting because of the locations and knowing the lake areas.
