the upmanship between an idealistic schoolmaster of the village, Tarak and Abani, a trade union leader who mixes poison in the ponds of the villagers which makes the villagers sick. Surjo,an encounter specialist, is sent by the Commissioner(whose daughter is in love with Deva) to finish off Deva, but does that happen? However Abani does get bumped off before that.
