Another week, another episode of Reliving The War! During the "Monday Night War" era of pro-wrestling WWF and WCW went head-to-head every week. Fans would tune into WWF Raw (on USA Network) or WCW Nitro (on TNT) as both wrestling organizations tried to put on the best shows possible. Every week a TV ratings battle would ensue with both companies wanting to gain the most viewership. The Rock opens up Raw is War and he informs us that he’s made preparations for Stone Cold Steve Austin’s funeral. The Acolytes are commanded to take out the Brood, an old feud gets reignited when Mankind faces Triple H, and Vince McMahon gets interviewed by Michael Cole in regards to his son's recent actions. On Nitro this week Roddy Piper delivers some surprising news to WCW President Ric Flair. A Piper vs Flair match gets booked for Slamboree, but tonight on Nitro Ric has to face Kevin Nash in the ring. A world championship match also takes place in the main event; Diamond Dallas Page vs Goldberg.
