This is a thoroughly enjoyable film rooted in the Hammer Horror tradition but with some modern trappings. The acting isn't from the realistic tradition, but reminds me of Sixties classics such as The Avengers and The Prisoner. Although the film is very different from the high gloss American vampire films and TV series, it still belongs to the 'vampires are cool killers and hot lovers' phylum. I prefer my vampires to be supernatural and this coven are just fashion winners. Eileen Day is the film's main asset and the camera really shows its appreciation. Plenty of 'intimate scenes' for me to fast forward through.

I know(after reading some reviews on this page)that most horror fans don't appreciate the value of this film and call it trash, but they don't know what they're talking about.OK,I admit that the story is pretty lame and the acting is also rather bad,but "Razor Blade Smile" is sexy, gory and highly entertaining bloodbath.Eileen Daly, who plays a fanged assassin Lilith Silver, shines in her first leading role.Man,she is hot!Oh,and there's also a blood-soaked lesbian scene that would make Jean Rollin proud. The late David Warbeck(Lucio Fulci's "The Beyond"),who sadly died after making this film is another reason to watch "Razor Blade Smile".Plenty of sex, violence, blood and macabre humour, but the ending is kinda' lame.So if you like vampire flicks, you could do a lot worse than this.Recommended!

This film is some of the worst handywork I´ve seen in years. It seems like it´s made with a video/handy cam. The light setting does´nt exist. The actors must have been picked up from the street. The story, there is no story. THIS IS RUBBISH, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS FILM.

Sure it is a new take on vampires. Who cares. I would rather the old take if it is entertaining. This was not entertaining. It was a dull story, poorly acted, with annoying cinematography. Save your money, don't even watch it on video.

It has been a long long time since I had so much fun watching a movie. It may be disappointing for those in search of a "proper" horror film (though it is still much much better than "Halloween H20", for example) or those who expect to watch a serious film (why should they?). But it will definitely delight those who love horror comix, sickly black humour, * costumes, etc. I found it thoroughly imaginative, deliciously tongue in cheek, and highly entertaining. Sexy, morbid, humorous, ... And the sound and visual effects are great too! It is an unpretentious vampire spoof; but very intelligent nonetheless (again, more interesting than "Interview with a vampire", for example).

This movie is pure brilliance. Camp, Cheesy and not to serious. When I saw it at the premiere in London, Eileen Daley came on stage and reminded us that this movie was shot for under £20K in three weeks. She also mentioned that it was meant to be camper than a campervan and poked more than a bit of fun at the too serious vampire movies. And even if one doesn't bear all of that in mind, it's still great :) It also has one of the best plot twists since The Usual Suspects towards the end. Deffo 10 out of 10

I mainly watched this because I had read an article about the female protagonist in an admittedly strange mag (Bizarre). My expectations were as low as they possibly could be so maybe that's why I enjoyed so much what I saw... The story's an entertaining and fresh go at an ever so well known theme (vampires) but what really makes this movie worth watching is a) the fact (?) that the entire cast really seems to have had great fun while doing this and b) that the visuals are just what they ought to be given that the makers didn't have a Hollywood budget. Amateurish at times, it is convincing enough for what it is - a cheap but fun vampire movie with lots of teeth, bites and blood. All I can say is that I great fun for an hour and a half. I wish I could say similar things about some lame but big budget movies like The Matrix or the like. Watch it and make up your own opinion. My bet is you won't regret it.
