زوجان شابان لديهم طفل صغير ينتقلان الى مدينة جديدة، وهناك يسير كل شيء على مايرام بإستثناء وجود مقبرة للحيوانات خلف المنزل وطريق ضيق أمام المنزل تمر منه الحافلات العملاقة بسرعة، وبينما تتنزه الاسرة في الحديقة، يتعرض الابن لحادثة ويموت تحت إحدى تلك الحافلات المسرعة، ويجن جنون الوالدين ويعلم الأب من جاره إنه يمكن استعادة ابنه عن طريق دفنه بمقبرة الحيوانات مع بعض الطقوس.

Lovely movie but I reckon the cat was better in the book
A long time ago, I read the book and watched the movie, but with netflix bringing it up--why not again? Watch it with the lights on, people. This is a well filmed, well acted scarefest that's creepy as heck.
Pet Sematary is a very good horror film and believe it or not somebody can make a good horror film out of a Stephen King novel. Mary Lambert does a great job with this film and manages to bring across King's creepy story pretty well. Most people may avoid this, but they should check it out.
