New kinda film for tamil cinema , this was never spoken so openly by anyone before which exists everywhere . that content may be a political thing but the way it was told was purely art related as a movie also it stands tall

Caste and religion are against humanity. This is the disclaimer the movie shows before it begins. India has immense levels of caste and religious politics, honor killing, lower GDP in lower castes. All 3 points are part of the story. Hope the new and upcoming generations give more importance and show kindness towards the people and animals next to them rather than the idea of a dividing supernatural power.

How does a film like this, a one that is so badly made, badly written and a one filled with nonsensical scenes have a rating of 8.8? Yes it is a film highlighting the problem of casteism in rural India which is ver much prevalent even today. But you just can't deny that the screenplay is quite poor. Overall it's a badly made film on a serious subject. Filled with unnecessary overdrawn sequences this movie feels too dragged. There are so many songs that feel superfluous and could be easily done without. The first half is decent with some good comedy scenes, mainly those having Yogi Babu. But then there are some ridiculous scenes that makes it hard for you to take the film seriously. I couldn't care less about the characters because so many plot holes in the film, I just couldn't care about any of them. Even the ending of the film is so ridiculous, I feel like I could've watched a better film instead of this overrated movie. Giving this a 1 in the hope of bringing down the ratings of this film as 8.8 for it seems utterly ridiculous. Thoroughly disappointed with this one.

I was interested to see this film given the high rating. I really enjoyed a lot of Indian cinema. Unfortunately, for non Indian voters, this should be bypassed as the high ratings are not realistic. The story starts with a very long prologue scene involving village life, conflict, hunting and a dog. The music and lyric topic was very strange to say the least for Western viewers. Unfortunately after 30-40 mins, I had to give up as the acting was so poor with the story line taking far too long to develop, and production being a bit too amateurish. Interesting to see village life in a Tamil movie but just didn't get to the main plot before I had to give it away. Sorry

Though the topics discussed are important to the society, the movie itself falls extremely short. The movie felt disjointed, overly stretched with a song every 5 minutes. There's a parallel track about a serial killer which again made no sense. The acting was also very average. And what was the point about the dog ? The protagonist is shown as loving the dog beyond limits, but at the end mentions the dog as a low lying creature ?

Way to go mari selvaraj!!also kathir...aanandhi ..played their role best!!!even the role by yogi babu was awesome...what a heart warming movie!!!gonna be one of the must watch milestones in tamil film industry!!!
