Gayle dominated the Pakistan attack and appeared to have put his team in control, but Pakistan refused to give up. Khurram Manzoor and Younis Khan steadied Pakistan after a difficult start, while Shoaib Malik played a sensational attacking innings of 66 from just 36 balls. But the match came down to an incredible final few overs. With Pakistan needing 17 runs from the last over, Kamran Akmal produced one of the most explosive finishes of his career.
