Odd Man Rush

Funny, ironic and realistic. For the 1000s of hockey star wanabees, this movie was made for you. These guys went further than most and must come to grips with reality and the real world.

The acting was great and the entire movie really good. Hockey movies can be iffy but this one did a good job. Anyone who knows anything about trying to keep the dream alive by going to play wherever they'll have you will relate to this film. They did a great job of making upstate NY and Colgate look like the deep deep minors of Germany and desolate rural small-town Sweden. I was very pleasantly surprised. Even you are not familiar with the topic the movie stands on its own as all the characters are memorable, really well portrayed and the story believable. 2 thumbs up.

Well its icehockey or death. its as simple as that, like other ones would die to become a mechanic or busdriver, it has so many ironic situations and light jokes so it tease even the grumpy old man to laugh. if your in for serious biographical hockey stuff you will have to look elsewhere, because this is just good old fun
