MAX BABIC vs MICHAEL SAMIOTIS | ULTIMATE PROMOTIONS – DEC 1995 A brutal 90s-era kickboxing battle from Ultimate Promotions, live out of Sunshine, Melbourne. Max Babic and Michael Samiotis went to war in a high-pressure contest that delivered everything fans expect from Australian kickboxing in its golden era. Both fighters traded hard shots and momentum through the early rounds, but in Round 3, Babic turned up the intensity. Relentless pressure and clean power forced veteran referee Nick Telakouris to step in and call the stoppage, sealing a Round 3 TKO victory for Max Babic. This was raw, no-nonsense kickboxing grit, toughness, and crowd energy that defined the Ultimate Promotions shows of the mid-90s. If you’re a fan of classic Australian kickboxing, this is mandatory viewing. Watch. Relive.
