تنظم مدرسة ابتدائية حفلًا، وتطلب من طلابها أن يرسموا لوحات عن تصوراتهم للمستقبل ومن ثم تدفن هذه اللوحات في أرض المدرسة، وبعد 50 عام من الحفلة، تستخرج اللوحات، وتكتشف لوحة واحدة سجل عليها أرقام عشوائية يتبين أنها تواريخ كوارث حصلت في القرون الماضية وهى بنفس الوقت تتوقع حدوث ثلاث كوارث في المستقبل.
