Ok I only pray someone sees this comment before wasting 1hr37mins of their precious time. How the * does one laugh throughout a supposed horror film. Where do I even start from, this movie(if we can even call it that) is the worst thing I've ever seen in my life(believe me I've seen a lot 😌) . I genuinely thought I was watching a full-length AI movie. The closeup shots were ridiculous and painful to watch. It was torturous sitting through this pile of shit. I wouldn't want to bore you with the obvious but just point out a few things. This isn't even about lazy storytelling, it almost seems the producer was out to just annoy and gaslight whatever handful of audience this movie could have. Of course the little girl is the only individual that resembled a human being. And to top it off, this parody of a film gaslights their 100 audiences or less with an ending implying the wife was in on the whole thing....FUCK OFF FILM 😡

The plot holes in this waste of time are endless. Entire premise is garbage and completely unbelievable. You could spend the entire length of this film picking out all the things that don't make sense which nobody ever questions. Like a kindergartener who can't read or write apparently but is writing a phrase with no adults around and her mom's like "why did you do this?" Duh, you said she can't read or write? And yet no one asks through the entire movie what the phrase is supposed to mean or why it's even relevant... And when it ends up being scrawled across a bedroom wall, they just shrug and try to clean it off as if someone smeared dirt on the wall. That's just one example. There are countless inconsistent and incredulous moments just like this. The demon looks like somebody picked up a 2 bit Halloween costume. Acting is terrible and characters are flat out annoying. And the ending makes zero sense leaving you saying Wtf? I can't believe someone wasted money making this crap. I want my hour and a half back.
When dad and Sophie are throwing the ball in the backyard..who is the person standing at the back door watching them while sporting some Tapout joggers?...a demon into MMA, that is a nightmare.
Terrible acting by all. The monster did the best acting ffs. Anyone who gave this a good review must have been paid, family member, was their first movie or they have an IQ of 54 or less. Daddy's boss did the acting.
How is it possible for anyone with an IQ over 100 to put this together for viewing? Their reactions to danger was atrocious, and of course the first person killed is ummmm, welll, the bbbblack guy. I'd stopped watching movies created post covid for this reason, where I guess I deserve this, but come on now, this is just cruel entertainment, hmmmm? Maybe that should be the name of this genre "cruel entertainment" or "post-covid". Prime movies and Diego Silva Acevedo...shame..shame!
A family is pestered by night terrors caused by a demon who is after the little girl. Daddy tries to save her, but nothing can save this Atlanta low budget horror. Sunny Mabrey of "Species 3" was apparently hungry for a job. The effects were low budget door rattling and pretending the door is locked type of stuff. We do get to see the demon, however demon hunters have not been the same since Zelda Rubinstein. Worth missing. No swearing, sex, or nudity.
Its a clear ripoff from insidious but at least insidious has good elements to it, this movie is poorly edited to the point that you can see the microphone in the shot at 28m 24s, the monster looks like a walmart suit covered in slime/precum, the acting is laughable, its horrible, not horror. The only scary thing about this movie is the actual picture, and for your information the claws in the picture and the ones we see in the movie are nothing alike, the family interractions are wierd and im not talking "oh thats just their family" no, im talking its bizarre, the first half has little to no action except doors moving and sounds. The family pretends as if nothing is happening even though the dad hears growling and clawing, even when every door in the house starts moving, or when in his dreams his father tells him he cant save his daughter, and the monster says the exact same thing in others voices and in text. The best part of the movie was kevin wayne walker wanting to get outta there after he found out about the demon, true black energy.
Nothing happens! Nothing! No monster payoff, nothing scary, just nothing! Horrible writing! How does this even qualify as horror? It should be called a drama at best.
