This is a prickly slow burner with a gloomy atmosphere not unlike The Others. It's just incredibly refreshing to watch a film that isn't a reboot or a sequel or an adaptation or a remake. Just a solid original film. Acting is a bit patchy but the way the eerie story unfolds makes it all worth the watch.
Love, angst, autism, sex; You know, the usual apocalypse stuff. You would think everyone would just be happy to be alive, but it seems everyone involved has a lot to get worked up about.
"Glasshouse" is a Drama - Sci-Fi movie in which we watch a family living in a glasshouse after surviving from the spread of a toxin that erases memory called The Shred. I believe that "Glasshouse" was a big surprise for many viewers since they did not expect it to be so interesting and good. Despite that the plot was simple, it contained some plot twists I did not expect and made it even more interesting. The direction which was made by Kelsey Egan was very good and she presented very well both her main characters and the main plot of the movie without leaving anything unexplained or creating any plot holes. The interpretations of Hilton Pelser who played as The Stranger, Adrienne Pearce who played as The Mother and Jessica Alexander who played as Bee were very good and they made the difference. All in all, I have to say that "Glasshouse" is a nice movie and big surprise for me so, I recommend you to give it a try because I believe it worth's watching it.
