This movie was shot really well. The flow of events kept things going and just when I thought I knew 'who did it' it soon became clear that I did not. Best plot twist. Kept me on the end of my seat for sure.
I have been waiting to see this film for so long, and had no idea what to expect. Needless to say I was hooked as soon as the movie began. I loved the storyline, camera work, characters, and the music. Everything about this film just worked! All the twists and turns keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end wondering - who did it? A true look at how choices and actions create their own consequences. Must see!
This film didn't feel like an indie film from the beginning. The storyline and acting kept me intrigued throughout and unsure as to who the antagonist was. Would definitely recommend watching for anyone into thrillers!
This movie brings back the feel of the thriller movies we all loved growing up with modern day context. Excellent concept, story, and character development. Keeps you guessing till the very end! Will definitely watch it again.
I was blown away! This movie was made in several locations, right down the road from me! A typical setting, this could happen in any neighborhood, you never know who the bad guy is. Look out Halloween!! A solid 10 out of 10!!
This was so exciting to watch! I honestly didn't know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised and it kept me hooked until the end. I had no idea what was coming!! Must see!
Great movie. I enjoyed the characters and their progression as the story unfolded. I loved the setting (but I'm partial to TN). Living in a small town, it's easy to relate to the way the town in the film was rocked by the events depicted. I love a good hook.
Wow. I have been waiting for this movie to be released and it was well worth the wait! The movie has you on the edge of your seat in suspense! The characters are absolutely amazing! Very realistic story line! Highly recommend buying this!
Well, well, well.... I can honestly say that I was not prepared for plot twist catastrophe that was the end. Ahh, you may be thinking that the end will suck, no. I was not mentally ready for then ending, nor was I emotionally ready. As I'm sitting here, with my cat, writing this review I am trying to recall the emotions that happened within the first 10 minutes of Fisher, and I can't say that I had any because I was captured in a state of shock. Much like the well known author, Rowling, the writers and producers didn't give the audience any mercy to grasp onto. Further along, in the film, the audience is thrown through loops of "Who did it?" "Why?" "How?" and "Are they alive?" If you are ready for a film that makes you question your own beliefs on "perfect religious parents", "what your own child is doing", "your own child's interests", and "fishing of any kind" then this film is for you.
This movie is perfect for the night you need a movie to riff on and is perfect fodder for an MST3k style party. Independent around every corner with iffy directing, hysterical editing, strange line reads, unnecessary montages, and - the worst part of all - completely fictional reviews by, what I assume, are the family of the people involved.
