I don't see how anyone could give this movie a negative review! The characters and storyline are so realistic. Alaska, 18 years of age and giving her father gray hair, is ultimately directionless. She has no intention of going to college. She doesn't like her dad's rules, but instead of moving out, she fights him tooth and nail. She's battling anger and depression over the suicide of her mom, and that has caused a strain on the whole family (she has a little brother). She eventually gets caught for having a fake ID to consume alcohol. Now that's she's an adult, she'll no longer get treated like a juvenile for committing crimes. She's ordered to community service at a nursing home. The judge makes it clear that the next time she does something illegal, she's going to jail. She starts out uninterested and bored with the senior citizens, but she ends up befriending one of the residents. It was really nice to see her transformation. She went from being rude and out of control, to a caring and thoughtful young woman. The acting was so believable. There were a few times my eyes welled up with tears. It's a marvelous film that illustrates the power of God, family, and friendship.
Gage Maynard was an actor for this movie and I invested in 2 of his projects. He's a thief and doesn't want to pay me back what he owes me. I have the evidence to back up what I'm saying and I plan on suing him. If anyone has more information on this crook, please feel free to reach out to him. If you have been a victim of his theft as well, please reach out so we can strength the case against him.
I can't believe the poor imdb rating. This movie may not be as polished as some other movies but its a lovely film with a lot more depth and heart than many Hollywood films.
Finding Grace was a beautiful story of very relatable life difficulties. The actors were incredible- perfectly suited for the roles they played. I was Blessed to see the premier of this movie in Panama City in December and have anxiously been waiting to be able to view again! I will be purchasing the DVD as soon as I can. This probably is one of the BEST movies I have ever seen! Thank goodness for people like Warren and Stacie Fast who write and produce a movie that is full of uplifting real life stories. We need more of these kind of films especially in our world today!
Such a sweet family friendly movie. Even my 3 year old granddaughter sat and watched it with my husband and I. It was great to see Bay county Florida on the big screen and the use of actual nursing home residents as extras in the film. This is definitely a movie I will watch again.
Inspiring movie that is a great way to spend time celebrating life, or just reminding yourself that all is not lost.
Ah. As with all Christian faith based films. You don't need to include pointless goddy bits. Let the faith of the film makers and the quality of the film stand alone and demonstrate your faith. As you should your lives. I was enjoying it until the church scene and after that I knew I couldn't give it more than a C rating. Without it I would have given it a B. Without all the other faith references, it would have been an A. Worth a watch but almost turned it off numeroud times when the goddy bits were shoehorned in. So pointless and such a shame, especially the end. It was ruined. Panda.
