"Deadly cuts" tells the story of Michelle (Angeline Ball) and her team of hair stylists in a working-class suburb of Dublin. A local criminal Deano (Ian Lloyd Anderson) is forcing her to pay protection money and a local councilor is threatening to demolish the street. I kind of liked the storyline. Yes, there is a twist that you will see coming from a mile away but overall it is a very well executed plot with a fantastic cast. Outstanding acting from mainly Angeline Ball (Michelle), Ericka Roe (Stacey) and Shauna Higgins (Chantelle). The movie is fast-paced and with a run-time of only 90 minutes you will never get bored. As the spoken language is Irish, I am sure I missed some jokes here and there. But this is a movie well worth watching.

I loved this film. Very enjoyable and a full of laughs. Very well acted and directed. Zoolander meets the Commitments meets Caddyshack. Hopefully it will be released in the Cinema. Good characters both in the background and the lead roles.

Super funny cute comedy from Ireland. I wish it had subtitles coz good gods they have thick accents but it was very nice. I liked it a lot. Decent humour nice performances ok directing.

The movie was fun. Included both elements of comedy and bloody crime. Acting was very realistic. Message, always follow your dreams and believe in yourself, was a great highlight of the movie. Strongly recommend.

Humorous and very silly but it's also deep and dark in places. It's almost two different nfilms mixed in to one. Definitely worth a watch though as there's some great laugh out loud bits.

This movie was recommended to me by an Irish friend, but like most Irish films you can't make out a word. OK, not true, you can make out 2 of 20 words. If you know Ireland you know they define themselves by classes, their idea not mine, and this is what's called a 'working class' accent. With no other audience that can understand a word they say you can see this is made by, starring, and exclusively for said class. The rest of us, well, we end up annoyed and turn them off within 5 minutes.

I'm really fond of dark comedy, and I really love Irish comedies. So this was brilliant fun for me. It was a bit campy at times, but it kept everything fun. These girls really put the "deadly" in the deadly cut, in a really humours way. But in the rough town where they're trying to keep their hair salon, they have to! No body, no problem! The acting was great, and there's a lot of really likable characters, even in the bit rolls. Especially the other people from the small Irish town. Even though the overall plot was predictable, the giggles kept coming. So it was just fun, with murder on the side.

Good basis to a story line. Unsure if they were trying to over exaggerate the south dublin accents but they were so bad, particularly pippas- that we ended up loosing focus on the movie and just giving out that they couldn't get decent Irish actors to do decent Irish accents.

This film is the worst thing to happen to Ireland since Britain. I was shocked to see it was funded by the Irish Film Board judging by the sloppy quality of filmmaking on display. Felt like a student film, or something a half talented child would make. Terrible. Awful. No bueno.
