Special movie with heart. Simple story with some interesting twists. Very well made, beautiful story about two souls meeting each other and forming instant bond that defies description.
This was a very sweet romance about two individuals meeting by chance. Cameron who is a little lost and self conscious of his medical condition and Jasmine who feels abandoned by her father spend two nights together and first discover friendship and then romance. Through each other, they become stronger and begin to heal. Great dialogue and great food discoveries.
I really just wanted to watch something that wasn't complicated or nasty or sex-scenes every 5 minutes and this film ticked all my boxes - I haven't enjoyed a film so much in ages !. It's simple, uncomplicated, sweet - just 2 young people who meet and have an instant bond, something the majority of people have experienced at one time or another in their lives - and in this film, although obviously a different time/place etc, it's like watching a trip down memory lane that all can relate to ! The 2 leads (Julie Zhan & Chris Dinh) are excellent, whoever put those 2 together are to be commended for their superb taste !
This hopeless romantic who also enjoys wholesome movies absolutely LOVED this story. The actors were brilliant and natural, the storyline realistic, full of heart and strength of character. The movies strongpoints were those very things most modern movies leave out....decent, real, innocent humanity and love. I was so touched by this movie and fèlt the need to write this review and pray that those involved with the movie would see it, and consider a follow-up movie. The firm foundation is there to show how lasting relationships are built and maintained by really getting to know and understand another. I have no pride, PLEASE write part 2!!!! Thank you so much for such a delightful, heartfelt, loving and respectful movie!!!
For everyone who is done with watching nightly escapades and immoral, provocative love, this tender movie is a tip. See the true romance, close by. Completed with a little humor and a bit of immersion. Courier Cameron (Chris Dinh) has to pick up one of his clients daughter of the airport: Jasmine (Julie Zhan). He is immediately charmed by her. And what does a crushing man do in a tender film? He does not actively open the hunt, no he buys a purple cuddle pony of one hundred dollars. Dating 2.0. To see, or not to see? Comfort is a bit different than you are used to from the average romantic movie. Two adults who interact with each other in an extremely correct way. No lust and wild behavior, but politeness and sincerity. I found it a nice movie, but there are some clichés in it and sometimes it's all too unrealistic and predictable. The bravery can sometimes be boring. Particularly see this movie if you are in the mood for something sweet and do not mind that the film is mainly about dialogue. The quality is good, so I still recommended it.
This movie was beautiful and pure and left you wanting more. I think this movie deserves a sequel and more people should watch it. So heartfelt and refreshing to see.
