I've watched this movie movie than once. I love it. Kristy McNichol is one of my favorite actresses and this was one of her last movies. She makes the movie funny. I laughed at just about everything she said. The rest of the cast was good, of course. It was just a very enjoyable movie.

I really liked all three movies - Children of the Bride, Baby of the Bride and Mother of the Bride. I am buying Baby of the Bride from Amazon.com but I don't know where to get the other two. Does anyone know where I can purchase them? Kristy McNichol is one of my favorite actresses and I try to purchase most of her movies. Children of the Bride is the one I am most trying to find. I really like Patrick Duffy and Children of the Bride is the only one he is in. I would prefer to buy these movies on DVD but I will take VHS if I can find them. All three movies are fun and cute especially if you like Rue and Kristy. If anyone knows of any other movies like this please let me know.

Being a fan of Rue McClanahan seeing this movie made me laugh because it deals with life and the love of family. The whole cast did a wonderful job, Anne Bobby's performance was decent, her character is a great combo of funny, sarcasm , and full of emotion. The plot follows a woman named Margaret who's in her early 50's that becomes engaged to a man named John who is approaching 40, what follows is a comical and crazy road to the altar as her four grown up children come home to attend the ceremony, each one dealing with their own issues. It was a a wonderful film with a good story.
