I hate this company more than enough, but this is a new low for them, they already ripped off Finding Nemo, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Hotel Transylvania, The Lion King and more! NOW THEY'RE RIPPING OFF ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR HORROR FILM FRANCHISES OF ALL TIME?!?! In case you didn't know, Charlotte 2 is just a ripoff of the franchise Chucky, a horror film series about a killer possessing a child's doll and starts murdering people inside of the doll. The franchise has a cult following, so you KNOW WOWNOW IS GOING TO RIP IT OFF WITH THEIR TRADEMARK SHAMELESSNESS AND DRAGGING IT INTO A STEAMING PILE OF SH-
The first story is downright moronic. Not worth your time. Fast forward. The second story.at least has a hor chick in little clothing. The story is just as dumb. The third story.....well I can't tell you. I stopped watching. This is the worst movie I've seen in quite a while. It's dismal. The acting isnt horrible. But the stories are just the worst. They arent scary and they, in fact, make no sense. It's as if they gave a monkey a typewriter and he came up with these dumb stories. And talk about plot holes. Well first of all the initial story has no plot. No plot whatsoever. The second does have a plot but it makes zero sense. And as I said, i couldnt get thru the third story. It was just as idiotic. Paint your room and watch it dry. It will be more exciting.
Just another horror anthology here, and not a particularly good one. Some stories were better than others, but none of them were really worth watching. No common theme throughout any of the stories; just disjointed, half-witted tales that offered more yawns than scares. It makes me wonder how movies like these even get made. Do yourself a favor and go find literally any other horror movie to watch.
Right, well had I known that this movie titled "Charlotte 2" (aka "Charlotte: The Return") was a horror anthology, I might have skipped on it entire. I am not overly keen on horror anthologies, as the vast majorities of them are rubbish. Oddly enough, because I really enjoy horror, but horror anthologies not so much. At first, I didn't know that it was an anthology, and I was rather confused with the sudden and abrupt change of characters, scenery and storylines. But then I figured out that it was an anthology, and while I had started the movie, I opted to watch it. And yeah, 76 minutes later I can say, what a waste of time. The stories in this horror anthology were not particularly interesting, entertaining or scary. It was mostly low budget horror short stories that failed to properly entertain me. There was a single or two adequate tales, but that was about it. So yeah, don't waste your time, money or effort on "Charlotte 2". I was mostly unfamiliar with the cast ensemble in this 2019 horror anthology, aside from actor Bill Oberst Jr.. My rating of "Charlotte 2" lands on a very generous three out of ten stars.
