Perhaps Europeans expect less effects and more story telling. This movie brings both. It is told in fragments which are not in chronological order. This opens the opportunity to make good effects at the end of a cut as the non-chronological order, whereafter it brings you to somewhere completely different in the story. You wonder what is in between the gaps. This serves the story telling very well. One sees that the production of the movie is of very high quality. For some reason they chose to make Bruce Willis with moles on both sides of the face and a ridiculous beard (approx. 10 long hairs) under the lower lip. No, we do not like this drug dealer, that he portrays in this movie. It has also a touch of comical humor, which distances you from what objectively is happening. On the cost side it lacks reality. The characters are unreal in the sense we could not meet them in the outside world. I agree in this choice because it is meant to entertain. Not educate or moralize. It is not the ending that is important. The story could have been told in innumerable ways. And I am inclined to believe, that Quentin Tarantino has not been in vain.

Very slow, non interesting plot. Bruce Willis looks like an idiot. Honestly save your money. If you wanna spend a $1.20.... rent the Justin bieber movie. It was more interesting while watching with my 3 yr old daughter. Just all around bad. Nothing to even suggest to someone. Not much more to say. I have to write 10 Lines and it hard to find words to describe how bad the movie was. I don't think there was a movie in recent history that made me think about the wasted time I just dedicated to seeing that movie. I don't know how it received a 4.9 rating. If you watch it and do see something I didn't that actually makes it worth watching. I apologize. But from my view this movie suck all around.

This movie needed more Brad Dourif! And per my husband, it needs more cowbell!

I do not want to be so hard but the movie it forces you to be. Never it stops getting in the plot. At all times these to the waiting of that there happens something that him of the credibility who looks with so many death . He sends me to " Pulp Fiction " and " Camellia The Texana " with the form in which they finish it. I allowed myself to go for the name Forest Whitaker and his participation in good movies. His roll is secondary (as it is possible to imagine anyone) and it is of the little that it is saved from the movie. Really he was hoping more for the producers' quantity that they appear to beginning of the movie but I imagine that someone had to pay to them to the actors who appear in her.

The script writer seems of limited vocabulary. His words of choice are "f_ck" and "sh_t". Often! Aside from that, the three lead actresses can't act, nor can most of the males in this film. Ever hear words like "bimbo" or "airhead"? Good descriptions of the three leading ladies in this fiasco. We stopped watching before Bruce Willis was introduced into the film -- the only real reason that we rented it was that he was in it. The plot was tenuous and murky. The action did not flow well. Full of foul language and gratuitous violence, it is a meaningless film and a waste of precious time. Forest Whitaker tried to act, but had no good script with which to work.

"Do you know where you're going? YES! Of course! Just come with me..It'll be alright, don't worry." Two facts can be said about the above:You said this to someone in your life,at least once. And two:someone said that to you. Did you/they really KNEW what they were doing? No. No. And you/they still said that, right? Why? Because...Well,I don't know. Does this Movie knows what it's doing? Probably not. This movie is like living; No one knows what they're doing, they all say they do,everything is confusing, then comes the end. Logically speaking, life does not make sense whatsoever. And so does this movie. Do not WATCH this movie, rather EXPERIENCE it like you do with life...But don't think or try to have it under control,or else you'll be confused and write another trashy review because you couldn't let go and EXPERIENCE this gem correctly, because of your shortcomings.

It's by far not the best movie I've seen but it's not so terrible as most of the reviews say. I have seen way more worse than this one. I thought it was entertaining and maybe a bit too wannabe "Quetin Tarantino" movie.

I wanted to like this movie, but it just has too many problems to overlook. For starters, there is not enough character development to make viewers give a damn about the people on screen. This, in turn, makes it difficult to sit through the dull dialogue long enough to understand what's going on. I had to fast forward through the last 15 minutes of the movie because it made no sense and I couldn't stand the characters' horrible accents anymore. It would also seem that Aaron Harvey was trying to imitate Quentin Tarantino, which is totally fine, I love Tarantino, but it doesn't work at all in this movie, it comes across as a cheap ripoff instead of a stylish, interesting production. Also, to give you an idea, I watched the movie with low expectations, I wasn't expecting anything more but to be entertained. It's not the worst movie I've ever seen but I don't think it even deserves the 4.9 average rating it has on here.
