Candyman 3: Day of the Dead

Candyman 3 was good. Despite the fact that I haven't seen the original "Candyman" and I saw "Candyman 2", "Candyman 3" was good. It had a lot of action and more about "The Candyman" before he officially became what he is today. It had a good cast. Nick Corri ('Rod' of "Nightmare On Elm Street") was in it. It had a good ending too which won't lead to another sequel. If "Candyman 3" is this good, I should see the original. Out of 1-10 (1 being that the movie sucked and 10 being it was the best movie) I give it an 8.0.

"Day of the Dead", the 3rd of the Candyman movies, is really just the first two movies put together. Sometimes the special effects look kinda cheap. But you have to remember the movie didn't cost that much and was shot in three weeks.Tony Todd is good as Candyman and seems even more evil than he was in the last two movies.Even though the movie is less scary than the other two, Todd himself is still as frightening as before.The movies story is good, probably one the best ever in a horror movie."Day of the Dead" isn't on level with "Farewell to the Flesh",and it sure doesn't stand up to the original"Candyman", but nevertheless its worth watching.

The third installment in "Boob... I mean, in "Candyman" franchise cannot be compared to previous two in any respect. The story is weaker, the dark and tense atmosphere disappeared without a trace, and in the main and larger supporting roles are good tits. No, I didn't express myself wrong. In the main roles are not actresses with good tits, but virtually tits, while the actresses are there only to carry them around the set. And no, it is not me who is obsessed with breasts, but the director. All female roles are entrusted to beautiful women with big *, and the cadres are such that most often tits are in the foreground, while their owners are more or less background. I guess the poor ones figured out they were not able to make a good movie, so they decided to distract at least the male part of the audience and somewhat cover up its numerous shortcomings. I can not say that it did not work, because it is, and I can not say that I did not enjoy nice * and their sweet sexy owners, but that does not change the fact that this film is disgrace for the franchise and for the reputation of Clive Barker, who I hope had nothing to do with this failure. 5/10

The ghostly serial killer returns once again from beyond the grave this time to haunt a Los Angeles art gallery owner named Caroline McKeever, a distant relative of the Candyman. In order for him to claim her soul so she will be next to him, the Candyman goes about killing all those associated with Caroline in the usual gory ways with his hook and making it appear to the authorities that Caroline is the one responsible for the killings.... Tony Todd said in an interview in 2003 that he didn't really care for this movie. And I wonder why? This film has to be one of the worse sequels ever to such a good first movie, and sadly, even from watching it from a 'straight to DVD third movie, so it could be cheesy fun' angle, the film has no redeeming qualities to it. First off, the lead actress D'errico (the one from baywatch) has the most annoying scream in the world,and soon you wish she had a hook in her throat. Secondly, Todd looks beyond bored, and in some scenes, it's as if he has had a drink, because words cannot explain his facial expressions. It's plot is ripped from the first movie, right down to the best friend, and the inclusion of a silly twist at the end, makes the film even more ludicrous. It's not even a film you can laugh at. It's one of those movies you will find yourself giving dirty looks, and hating yourself for watching it.

Ok, i caught like 20 minutes of this on cable one night, and I saw 3 people get sliced and diced and the chick gets naked. Not a brilliant way to complete a trilogy, but definitely funny. Not serious like its predecessors.

Plain Out a Good Movie. As Usual, Candyman is Stalking his latest Obsession. He Does the Killings and The Girl is Blamed. Seems Familiar? Here's The Twist. This One is the most Enjoyable From The Whole Series. When I Say Enjoyable, I Really Mean...Terrifying, Stunning, Brilliant, A True Master Piece. I Could not See Myself Thinking so Highly Of The Candyman Without This Latest Installment. It's Just That....Well....I'm Sure The Candyman Will Return for More Thrills Due to This "Odd" Ending. Better than Part 1. Check This and Other Candyman Movies Out!!!!!

Candyman 3 day of the dead is pretty much one of the best horror movies you can find. The plot is not any thing special because it is pretty much the same plot as candyman 2 farwell to the flesh but the movie itself completely makes up for it believe me. This movie is about a women named Caroline(Donna D'Errico) who is an ancestor to the candyman(Tony Todd). Candyman wants to bring Caroline back to the grave with him. This movie is probably the second goriest movie in the series behind the original candyman. I would highly recommend this to a fan of Candyman or Scream. I give this 2 thumbs up.
