Is there a reason the only positive reviews are done by new accounts and only have 1 review? yes because the movie is not good. Bad acting and music. The story line is the only reason I give this a 3.2 i wouldnt wast your time
Dimension refers to universes that are "next" to our own, which require magic or high-end technology to travel to and from. This movie made me travel through the director's mind... If you expect to feel something unexpected... Just watch it and give a chance to a small budget movie. Congratulation to that director who definitely challenged the word of blockbuster. I love good story telling. That's a good one guys!!!! We talk about art!
What we have here is a script writer who is a big fan of The Twighlight Zone or some similar show but found at the current time that there is no show like it to submit it to. So instead it's stretched out into a full length feature film that ends up as a "meh" watch with no replay value. Had it been trimmed to a 30 minute episode and been part of a season of TZ-like tale, it would have been much better.
This film may have a few too many moments of monotony or unimaginative scenarios as it unfolds following the lead character Charlie, But it's pretty obvious that was the intention giving you scenes reminiscent of an episode of the twilight zone. A shy young army veteran who is now working as a waiter becomes overly obsessed with a prostitute, But when he meets a bar tender who offers him a once in a lifetime chance to change his luck, Charlie implements a plan that may have grave consequences. The acting isn't spectacular but it's satisfying for the mildly dark mood of this film. It doesn't drag on too much although at times felt a little tedious and it could of been more character development but all in all the message at the end of the film which is simply stated carrys a lot of weight and makes this film worth watching. I give it a 6 which means Ok and worth a watch. The amount of relevant characters in this film you can count on one hand but that doesn't impede on the entertainment value And that's an accomplishment in itself.
The message is everything in this movie. For those who see beyond ...
Bad script, awful acting, better than counting sheep, pointless waste of time making. That's just the positive's. The film could have been so much more if the script was good, the actors could act, was made to stop people falling asleep, and had a point to being made. Damn that's negative's. See if the review was a waste of time writing, or was it.
Not sure the point. The lesson? If there isn't one why bother making this bad movie? Pointless plot.
What I got was a drama and an uninteresting one at that. I kept waiting for something to happen. If a slow-paced drama with a let-down ending is what you're in the mood for, then this is your movie.
